Our history

Raleghs cross is a privately owned freehouse situated 1300’ up on the eastern edge of exmoor.  Part of the building dates back to 1612, the pub was popular with the miners throughout the 1850’s.  The pub has been modernised and extended through the years to how it stands today – we have beautiful views of exmoor and accessible to local walks, cycling trails as well as the seaside a short drive away in Minehead or Watchet.
